Hey, where is everybody?
I am a great fan of George Michael. Yesterday I converted all his songs from the CDs into mp3 so that I can save them into the memory card and play them on my car’s FM modulator. I have his songs from the following albums:
1. Fantastic
2. Make It Big
3. The Edge of Heaven
4. Listen Without Prejudice
5. Faith
6. Older
7. Songs From The Last Century
8. Ladies and Gentlemen
9. Five Live
10. Freeek!
11. Patience
12. Twenty Five
There are altogether 157 songs, roughly 8 hours of playing time.
I noticed two of the switches on the extension board were not working. Fixing it should be a piece of cake. I opened it up with a screwdriver. Oh my ….. everything fell apart. No wires inside? I think I need an electrical engineer to fix it back.
Oh no, the bulb blew up again. And there was no more spare bulb in my house. Luckily I have a “piggy lamp” which I bought from a Chinese woman (the woman from China who sells lots of odd things).
The next day I went to the shop to buy a Philips 18W Energy Saving Bulb.
Ha…. that’s more like it.
My daughter won the runner-up of the National Short Story Competition for the Chinese primary schools.
Today is Hui Xin’s wedding day. She is one of my Internet friends when we started Interneting back in the 90’s.
From left is Cheon Fong, Hui Xin (the bride), Ser Loon (Hui Xin’s husband), Kah Shing and me. Glad that we are able to come together again.
